Scott Petersen (aka s c a c i n t o |skɑʃɪntoʊ| ) is a composer, performer, electronic musician and laptop improviser. His musical output includes works for large orchestra, string orchestra, small ensemble with and without electronics, solo works with electronics, works for large homogeneous instrumental groups, film/animation, and sound installation. He has performed and had his music performed in the US and in Europe. Scott is the Assistant Director of the Yale Music Technology Labs and serves as the Music Technology Specialist for the Department of Music at Yale University. He is a founder/member of the collaborative New Haven Electronic Music Composers (El MuCo) and of Modo Particulae.
